Isn’t it a great feeling to have talented friends?

You know, friends that excel, friends with creative vision, friends that can inspire.

Independent Creative Designer Samantha-Jane Ofoegbu is one such friend.

It is likely that you have seen her work sported by members of the Jazz re:freshed crew, as more often than not we’ll be rocking one of Samantha’s designs. We love her work, her ethos and her approach to her craft, which has an attention to detail akin to a virtuoso musician. She loves what she does and imbues her creations with that same love and care.

Samantha-Jane Ofoegbu founded GeoD by Samantha-J in 2010 through the love of fashion, progressive music,(especially hip-hop), the 1980’s, colour and fabrics.

Born in the North-West city of Liverpool, England and of Nigerian parentage, Samantha-Jane grew up around a wonderful spectrum of fashion culture, with African prints featuring heavily at home and more so being influenced by the modern Western culture she grew up in. This was also the era of new “Power Dressing” trends and a new musical genre, Hip-Hop.

GEO

In her early childhood, Samantha-Jane was heavily influenced by 1980’s fashion and music culture, which inspires her work today. From a very young age, she had a passion for creating garments from whatever resources she had around her. Customising old clothes and using the traditional African print for colour highlights, Samantha-Jane slowly taught herself the important elements of garment construction.

GeoD by Samantha-J drops her latest collection using fresh colours and bespoke prints yet having the same classic flavour the brand has built over the last 6 years.

A trunk show is a showing and sale in a retail store of an entire collection of clothing and is not a fashion show , but does give you the opportunity to have the first in store viewing of the collection at a discounted price.
